Tags Industry Line
Keeps its promise
Tailored to the highest demands of the wood processing industry, our identification tags are made from hot-dipped galvanised sheet steel or special plastic. What is so special about this: our plastics dissolve, as desired, during processing to MDF (medium density wood fibreboard) or paper without any residue. Other types are very durable and even withstand extreme heat during the manufacturing process of veneers. That is what we mean by custom solutions.

BARCODE BLACK | TYP 02
Description
The black tag with the white barcode offers the best contrast. You get the most reliable
scanner results with this tag.

KING SIZE BARCODE BLACK | TYPE 06
Description
With its 47×42 mm, the KING SIZE tag is the largest plastic tag and is therefore especially
suitable for printing larger quantities of text. The tags only fit in the new DOUBLE SAFE
magazine.
NATURALLY WHITE without BARCODE | TYPE 01
Description
The naturally white plastic is processed without additives or dye. The wear resistant,
hot-stamped labeling is available in all common colors. The organic plastic dissolves if
the tag comes into contact with an alkaline or acid solution.**
PAPER BLACK | TYPE 02
Description
The tags, made of natural finished plastic, pigmented with natural color are imprinted
with laser technology and available with barcode 128 or 2/5. The organic plastic dissolves
if the tag comes into contact with an alkaline or acid solution.**
PAPER BLACK 2D | TYPE 04
Description
The tags, made of untreated plastic and pigmented with natural color, are imprinted
with laser technology and available with 2D code (Data Matrix code / QR code). The
organic plastic dissolves if the tag comes into contact with an alkaline or acid solution.**
METAL TAGS | TYPE 02 METALL
Description
The tags are made of galvanized sheet steel and have a thickness of approx. 0.6 cm.
The metal tags have the same size as the plastic tags, MODEL 02, and therefore fit in
the standard pick-up magazine. However, a special hammer with magnetic head is
required for hitting in the tag, the Signumat Hammer 3M.

Hammer and magazines
In one fell swoop
Of course, the best labeling technology is only as good as its permanent mechanical attachment to the wood. That’s exactly the reason why we also developed an ingenious system that securely and permanently attaches our tags. Thanks to the forged Signumat hammer, securing the tags to the wood is possible with only one blow. This is ensured with a clever ball-and-socket joint that always provides a level impact: simply remove the tag from the magazine – the hammer has also been provided with a magnet for metal tags – and knock it into the wood with the hammer. Within seconds. The handle has been shaped ergonomically and manufactured from shock-absorbing wood. There is a supply of 40 tags in the carrying bag included with the Signumat magazine – virtually always at your fingertips. An additional 200 pieces are available in the bag provided. This turns efficient work into fun.
