We proudly look back on a successful trade fair and are excited to shape the future of wood logistics together with our customers.
Digital Solutions for the Forestry Industry
Latschbacher’s ERP and logistics system WinforstPro NG attracted considerable attention. With over 30 modules, it covers all forestry processes – from inventory to billing – and enables a seamless process chain in timber marketing as well as full traceability. The software is also fully equipped to meet the requirements of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Visitors were particularly interested in the logistics solutions, which offer end-to-end digitalization of timber procurement and can be tailored to individual customer needs. These solutions provide the industry with an innovative and future-proof option.
Focus on Innovation
One of the highlights was the electronic caliper, which impressed international visitors from Europe, Africa, South America, and Japan with its unique user interface for manual timber measurement. Another milestone was the market-ready introduction of RFID technology in timber marking. The durable tags with RFID chips allow for quick and easy wood identification. Proven marking tools, magazines, and the Signumat hammer are used for this purpose. During a live demonstration with a handheld scanner, visitors witnessed read ranges of over 5 meters.
